Katie Johnson

Occupational Therapist and Director

B. OccThy - AHPRA Registered / OT Australia Member

Katie started Integrated OT with the goal of making occupational therapy services more accessible, so that clients could get assistance to achieve their occupational goals in a timely manner. Katie is passionate about working with her clients and families to dig beneath the surface and try to find the core issues impacting on their daily function. In doing this, Katie works hard to make sure that everyone is ‘on the same page’ and working in partnership to achieve their therapy goals.

Since beginning Integrated OT, we have opened a clinic (Bundoora) and also continue to see clients in their community, which is where a lot of their OT goals are based. In 2015, Katie attended Camp Avanti in Wisconsin and would one day like to open a sensory gym to provide a similar dedicated space for sensory integration therapy.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys playing music in a community band, training for fun runs with her friends and spending time with her family.
