KATIE JOHNSON

Occupational Therapist and Director

B. OccThy - AHPRA Registered / OT Australia Member

Katie started Integrated OT with the goal of making occupational therapy services more accessible, so that clients could get assistance to achieve their occupational goals in a timely manner. Katie is passionate about working with her clients and families to dig beneath the surface and try to find the core issues impacting on their daily function. In doing this, Katie works hard to make sure that everyone is ‘on the same page’ and working in partnership to achieve their therapy goals.

 

Outside of work, Katie enjoys playing music in a community band, training for fun runs with her friends and spending time with her family.

IMOGEN HOY
Occupational Therapist
B. OccThy - AHPRA Registered / OT Australia Member

Imogen graduated from the Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and has previously graduated from La Trobe with a degree in Health Sciences (Major in Anatomy and Physiology). She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is also a member of Occupational Therapy Australia.

 

Imogen has experience working with a diverse range of clients across the lifespan in both, Australia and the United Kingdom. She believes in delivering person centred, family focused services. Her past experience has included working with older adults, young adults and children with learning difficulties and individuals with disabilities in varying settings in which occupational therapy can be delivered. Imogen has an interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder, sensory processing difficulties, intellectual disabilities and individuals that have physical impairments. She enjoys working in an environment that enables her clients to reach their intended goals and engage in their everyday life in a fulfilling way.

When Imogen isn't at work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, redecorating her house and going to the movies. She also enjoys working out and pilates classes.

TRACEY SANGSTER (currently on Maternity Leave)

Occupational Therapist​

B. OccThy - AHPRA Registered / OT Australia Member

Tracey graduated from Deakin University Geelong in 2015, completing a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with Honours. She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is also a member of Occupational Therapy Australia.

Since graduating, Tracey has developed a wide breadth of experience, working in both the public and private health care sectors across Victoria, and now within private practice. She has predominately worked within subacute rehabilitation, namely neurological and orthopaedic conditions, as well as outpatient community rehabilitation. She has developed experience working alongside people from all walks of life, all ages and multi-faceted conditions and diagnoses. Tracey’s passion lies within neurological conditions; optimising individuals function and regaining independence, and has completed further education in this area.

 

As an Occupational Therapist, Tracey enjoys working with clients to help recognise their needs and goals; identify barriers and limitations; and then develop strategies or interventions to overcome the challenges. She recognises that you are the expert in your life, and develops individualised and unique strategies to suit you.   

 

Outside of work, Tracey is attempting to renovate her home with no prior experience, spends time with her friends and family and riding her lazy ex-racehorse, Thomas.

GAVIN DUFFELL

Occupational Therapist

M. OTPrac - AHPRA Registered/OT Australia Member

Gavin graduated from the La Trobe University with a Masters of Occupational Therapy and has previously graduated from La Trobe with a degree in Sciences (Major in Biochemistry and Physiology). He is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is also a member of Occupational Therapy Australia.  

 

Gavin has previous experience working in fast-stream rehabilitation, helping a broad range of clients’ transition home following a significant hospitalisation.

 

Gavin enjoys his current role in a community setting which allows him to work more directly with clients on the goals that are most meaningful to them. Gavin has experience working with a diverse group of clients and has a particular interest in the area’s mental health and cognitive processing. He believes it is important to understand perceived limitations of a disability in order to remove barriers to participation.

 

When Gavin isn’t at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, and enjoys learning new skills.

JACQUELINE ROGERS

Office Administration Assistant

Jacqueline is responsible for all general administration duties and processes including billing and organising appointments at Integrated OT. Jacqueline is currently studying Occupational Therapy at Deakin University. She enjoys building rapport with clients, meeting their needs and answering all their inquiries.

 

Outside of work, Jacqui likes spending time with family and friends, going on road trips and doing pilates.

SARAH ELSWORTHY
Therapy Assistant

Sarah is a current Occupational Therapy student at Deakin University. She has recently transferred her studies over from the University of South Australia and has moved to the Geelong area. She enjoys meeting new people and is passionate about helping clients to reach their goals and engage in their everyday life in a meaningful way.

 

Outside of work Sarah is a huge sports fan and has experience playing professional and semi-professional basketball across several Australian states. She also enjoys staying fit and healthy by running, gym work and eating delicious foods. Sarah is most excited by spending time with her family and friends and cannot wait to have freedom of travel across the states.

JESSICA PANEV

Therapy Assistant

B. AppSc (Psychology)

Jessica graduated from RMIT University completing a Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology) and is currently studying a Master of Occupational Therapy Practice at La Trobe University. 

 

Jessica has experience working with a diverse range of clients both in age and culture through her time volunteering at a mental health organisation. She believes that the use of holistic intervention to help individuals develop, recover, or maintain the meaningful activities of their life is an important measure to increase overall wellbeing. Jessica is passionate about exploring individual targets by taking into consideration psychological, physical, social, and environmental factors.

Jessica enjoys working with individuals to make their goals a reality. This involves supporting individuals in developing social techniques, accessing information, and developing adaptive strategies to ensure the desired outcome is achieved. In her approach, she attempts to be both innovative and compassionate, assisting people further their independence.

In her own time, Jessica likes to socialise with friends and family surrounded by lots of food. She also enjoys knitting while watching greys anatomy.

LINDEN SAYERS

Therapy Assistant

Linden is studying her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at the Australian Catholic University, expected to graduate in 2023. She has gained experience working in various settings with a range of individuals with disabilities and learning difficulties.

 

Linden enjoys working with all people across the lifespan and takes pride in assisting others; always striving to improve their quality of life. She has a genuine interest in supporting individual’s accessibility within the community and their environment.

Outside of work, Linden is a manufacturing jeweller, enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and attends casual ballet classes.

ELIZA VELTHUIS

Therapy Assistant

Eliza is studying her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at the Australian Catholic University, also expected to graduate in 2023. 

 

Eliza has experience working with kids, teens, and adults in the disability sector, having attended regular weekend adventure camps across Victoria. Eliza enjoys working with people and building connections to help clients reach their goals and have optimal independence.  

 

Outside of work, Eliza enjoys travelling, spending time with friends and family and exercising. She also love adventuring and discovering new places!!
